Role Play

role-play

Overview

The purpose of a Role Play is to enable someone to simulate a difficult conversation or a negotiation. The Presenter identifies that roles need to be played and suggests likely candidates for each role. In many cases, there are only two roles – the requester and the other party. The requester explains the situation and the roles involved, answers clarifying questions, then the Role Play process begins.
